Barbara graduated from California State University East Bay earning her Bachelor of Arts in Music focusing on piano and voice.  Barbara has more than fifteen years of experience performing, accompanying, and teaching vocal and instrumental music.  She is currently devoted to her private piano studio where she teaches a variety of ages and performance levels with students receiving honors for excellence in piano performance.  Students set goals with Barbara that insure progress at an individualized pace to prepare for solo and ensemble work for recitals, competitions, or for the student's own enjoyment of the piano. She has been a member of the Music Teacher's Association of California for several years, and currently serves as the Delta Branch Recording Secretary.
